Dear Alumnus,
“Research is creating new knowledge.”
–Neil Armstrong
The ideas associated with research are inherently tentative, but as they cycle through the process of science again and again and are tested and retested in different ways, we become increasingly confident in them. Research works provide a novel venue, in which providers can increase their knowledge and impart better patient care. Undertaking research helps us think not only intensively but also critically.
The survival and growth of a scientific journal depends on how the journal conducts reviews before publication, how national and international author perceive the quality of the journal for presenting their articles, how the journal becomes a forum for discussion on important technical issues, and how fast results of scientific research are accepted, analyzed, and reported. About the content of articles published, I would like to make it loud and clear that a stringent system was worked out and every article was sent to a reviewer who is an expert in the field. They took time from their own professional activities to help colleagues and the Journal to succeed. We acknowledge their invaluable input in success of our journal. The progress of a scientific journal will eventually be determined by its scientific content; no journal can survive without it. The success of author and journal is interdependent. We have enjoyed working with all authors and thankful to them for sharing their research work with us as “the measure of greatness in a scientific idea is the extent to which it stimulates thought and opens up new lines of research.” I hope each of you will continue to submit your best research findings to IJOHS.
Only refined and delicate pleasures from research and education can build up barriers between different ranks.
Encouraging researchers for getting involved into quality research was always our motto as we believe that “Do research, Feed your talent. Research not only wins the war on cliché, it is the key to victory over fear and its cousin, depression.” Editorial team worked hard and the journal has prospered and earned credibility among all the reader members. The journal has been recognized by British Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, EBSCO Publishing's Electronic Databases, Exlibris – Primo Central, Google Scholar, Hinari, Infotrieve, Journal Guide, National Science Library, OpenJGate, ProQuest, TdNet, Kudos.
At the end of my tenure as an editor, with a deep sense of gratitude, I express my heartfelt thanks to Principal sir and all the members for reposing faith in my capabilities and given responsibility. This experience has been an opportunity to learn and grow for me.
I would like to thank once again each and every one who has been a part of this journey and helped me achieve my purpose of “turning mirrors into windows.”
